Maintenance
Check out our tips to prevent many common issues and extend the life of your AEG Dishwasher.
Regular Maintenance
To ensure optimal performance, run a 65°C wash program every three months without dishes, but with detergent. This helps to clean the internal parts of the dishwasher.
Filter Cleaning
Check and clean the filters regularly. Dirty filters can affect washing results. The filter system includes a coarse/fine filter, microfilter, and flat filter. Remove the lower basket, unlock the filter system using the handle on the microfilter, and clean it.
Check Water Softener
Ensure the water softener is correctly set to prevent lime deposits or white film on dishes. Adjust it according to your local water hardness.
Use of Salt and Rinse Aid
Make sure the salt container and rinse aid dispenser are filled. This helps to prevent lime scale buildup and ensures dishes are properly rinsed.
Proper Loading
Load dishes properly to ensure spray arms can rotate freely. Overloading can prevent dishes from being cleaned effectively.
